青ギスは絶滅したのか！？ 大分県・豊後高田で徹底検証！

かつては東京湾など日本各地の干潟や河口で見られたアオギス。しかし埋立てや干潟の消失、環境の悪化により、生息数は激減し「幻のキス」とまで呼ばれる存在になってしまいました。

ところが豊後高田では、つい数年前まで普通に釣れていた青ギス。
そんな中「1週間前に釣れた」という情報が入り、釣友U-chanと急遽釣行することに。

Aogisu (Sillago parvisquamis) was once found in tidal flats and river mouths across Japan, including Tokyo Bay. However, due to land reclamation, the loss of tidal flats, and environmental degradation, its population has plummeted, and it is now considered a rare and almost “phantom” species.

Surprisingly, in Bungotakada, Aogisu could still be caught until just a few years ago.
Recently, we heard a fresh report saying, “Someone caught one last week,” so my fishing friend U-chan and I decided to head out and see for ourselves.
